After getting set up with the Breeze2 meter at the hospital and realizing that purchasing the test strips were out of my price range, I searched around and read reviews and decided to try this meter. I sample tested the results against my Breeze meter & they were just 2 points off. Pretty close and who's to say it wasn't the Breeze meter that was off. The meter was very cheap and the test strips are not very expensive at all. Now I can test my blood whenever I feel the need without having to worry about using up an expensive Breeze test strip. And I know this shouldn't be important, but it is very tiny & cute and I found a pink/purple one. Cheers me up!
Cons
Admittedly the con is having to insert the test strip each time & having to worry about touching it in certain spots - maybe skewing the results. I didn't read anything about not being able to touch the strip in certain places - that's just my own paranoia! But there is no coding required, so it's certainly doable and the extra step is worth the lower cost to operate.
