A crisp, clean and purely refreshing soft drink with the unmistakable sweetness of 100% real ginger flavor. Truly a real thirst quenching beverage for the hot summer days!

If I were going to drink soda, this would be the one. It is very refreshing. I'd probably use the regular, not the diet, and have half a can at a time.

Water, lemonade w/out sugar, and iced tea with lemon are my choices these days for regular consumption.

Canada Dry is the best. I love to put it in the freezer and drink it after little ice chips form in it. Used to get bloated on this stuff. Can't anymore. Those were the good ole days. ;)

I've been drinking the diet for 4 1/2 yrs occasionally when sick and it really helps you feel better

I too like the Canada dry ginger ale. In fact, I grow up on this stuff. I was given to us as kids when we got sick and couldn't hold fluids on our stomachs.

I am so glad you wrote this. I love Canada Dry ginger ale too. I just can't get with diet drinks so, I drink it from time to time. But, I feel kind of guilty about the sugar.

Pros

It helps aid stomach upset (especially when you stir out the bubbles with a spoon)
It's great to enjoy moderately (even the diet version)
It tastes great both cold and at room temperature ( I also know that it is the only known soft drink that can be enjoyed at room temperature)

Cons

Too much consumption can lead to flatulence for some and an increase in calories (even in the diet version)
It's not purely recommended as an absolute thirst quencher during the summer ( water would be the preferred choice)
The regular version may contain extra needed sugar/calories that can be stored as fat ( at least that's what I heard)
