I keep hearing this same recommendation, but I have never found anyone who will tell me exactly what and how much of what foods I should eat. Now that would be a book worth buying.
What is it with the carbs. There is so much going on with foods and vegetables that you just don't know where to start. My main concern when I read the lables, especially in canned goods is the SODIUM. I'm not to crazy about salt, but when I do use it, I use Diamond Crystal. I has0% fat 18% sodium and 0% Carbs also ) calories
This is a good article, everyone needs to keep checking what they need to do for taking care of their diabeties. It may seem like there is a lot of things to know for diabeties and there is. But it is also changing every day from a new drug to drugs that you should not take anymore. From food that is not good for you to wow this is really good for you now.

We desperately need to be reminded of things to do to avoid complications and the tips the author mentioned certainly will do the job, that is, if we diligently follow them. There are people around who have had diabetes for decades and are avoiding the complications. So why not everyone of us?

All that has been said in the above artical is i,teresting and benificial to diabetic subjects…but, it's difficult tu put it into regular practice …on financial and personal determination of most of diabetic people…Are there any tips that may help them cope with these difficulties to manage monotoring their illness? tHANKS
That is something that a lot of people forget about over time. It has been a long time since I have talked with my dietician. I need to get in touch with her and go over my meal plan again to get me back on track. Thank you James for the reminder
