There have a lot of news reports lately about how important sleep is to your health — not least in managing your weight.

Sleeping more? Seems to me that your metabolism stays slowed, you aren't exercising or burning calories and you're in a depressed state from oversleeping.
I believe more sleep could help in weight control (and in brain control) but the dilemma is getting more sleep.
I believe it's true. I'm a chronic non-sleeper. I'm such a night owl… I put on weight during the week when I'm not sleeping much. But when I crash on the weekends and sleep in I start to see the weight come off.
I really need to work on this. I knew this was true but it's nice to have a reminder to work on it more.
Okay, maybe Americans are too materialistic, but selling everything and moving to an African village? No thanks! LOL :)
