Sleeping more? Seems to me that your metabolism stays slowed, you aren't exercising or burning calories and you're in a depressed state from oversleeping.

I believe more sleep could help in weight control (and in brain control) but the dilemma is getting more sleep.

I believe it's true. I'm a chronic non-sleeper. I'm such a night owl… I put on weight during the week when I'm not sleeping much. But when I crash on the weekends and sleep in I start to see the weight come off.

I really need to work on this. I knew this was true but it's nice to have a reminder to work on it more.

Okay, maybe Americans are too materialistic, but selling everything and moving to an African village? No thanks! LOL :)

I guess I better get some sleep in. My sleeping has been horrible, some nights I don't get a minute of sleep. I didn't know this, if I had to guess than I would have guessed the opposite.

So glad I read this article. I'm lucky if I get 5 hours of sleep each night.

Journalistically, doesn't get an A in a beginning class, but the last part of the article finally got around to saying what it was supposed to say. If you have a collection of sleep disorders, as I do, over 5 hours of sleep is almost impossible.

confirms what I have been reading on getting enough sleep, I am a bad one for staying up way to long every night, new plan is to get to sleep earlier.
