without healthcare. I myself know someone like this. There are plenty of patient assistance programs designed to help those in need. This is a great program designed to give out free insulin to those in need. You will have to qualify and show proof of need so there is little chance of abusing this program. If you or someone you love needs insulin and cannot afford it, please see the following PDF form for how to get a free 90 days supply of insulin.

Thanks BarryE!!

Lilly also has a program called Lilly Cares. This is how I currently get my insulin, Humalog.

I found out about the program through my local Joslin Diabetes Clinic. We filled out the paperwork and I am set for a year. Well, it has been just over 6 months now and no health insurance in sight, I hope I can reapply for next year.

Barry,

Thanks for posting this. What a great resource for those who are truly in need. And I know there are several members of this site who fit into that category.

Thanks!
