Novo Nordisk makes progress with oral insulin

Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk the world's biggest insulin maker, said on Wednesday it is making progress in developing a tablet form of the drug — a holy grail of diabetes therapy.

I won't hold my breath waiting for oral insulin, but I hope they are onto something. I'd give it a try!

YES! YES! YES! I can see my life, overall, would be improved to the point of me almost crying right NOW just thinking about oral insulin. No more injections!! BRING IT ON!

This would be amazing! No more shots! For 37 years I have been giving shots and am now on the pump - alot easier but since I was 5, I always wished for a cure.
