Diabetes drug Byetta tied to kidney problems, says FDA

People with type 2 diabetes who are taking the blood-sugar-lowering drug Byetta may be at increased risk for kidney problems, including kidney failure, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration reported this week.

Getting sick has been a regular thing with this injection. But instead of it getting better, it's gotten worse. After I hard the warning I discontinued taking the injection. I've been feeling much better since then.

I had been considering asking my Drs about Byetta, but no longer.
