Ahhhhhh now I understand why you were so serious about my mentioning of the symptoms of low BS. This is a GREAT article and I thank you for sharing it.

Last week when the man from Abbott gave me my meter he also gave me a book that includes symptoms of high and low BS. I realized that I have text book symptoms when it hits me. Reading about how you have woken up in the hospital scares me because I live alone so am afraid I just won't wake up at all.

One suggestion my doctor gave today is that I should eat a piece of fruit before I hit the pool. I explained to him how I tend to kick my own butt out there and also stay out for several hours at times. He said the fruit will give me a little extra sugar to keep me going until I come in and have my meal or snack.

Thanks so much again :-)

I found this article interesting as I have a continuing problem with hypoglycemia. Can't count the times I've waked up in the ER with the problem.
