Regular physical exercise can lead to massive reductions in type-2 diabetes risk according to a number of scientific studies.
One of the largest studies on the impact of exercise on type-2 diabetes risk was conducted in 1992 by researchers from the Department of Medicine at the Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA. The researchers used data from the Physicians’ Health Study which involved 21,2171 male physicians from the United States aged between 40 and 84 who were followed for five years.

Add your commentI can remember when I was first diagnosed, not one doctor told me what a plus it is to exercise along with the other things we do to help our diabetes. This article is great to have in this section. The more we all read about the benefits of exercise, the more we will start to put it into our daily routine. An artilce like this should be put onto every one of the web sites about health so people without diabets as well can see what exercise will do for them.
since I started using a pedometer around the house… and out on walks… I am getting a better gage of just how much or how little exercise I am getting… Keeping an exercise diary… shows proof that the more active I am, the better my numbers are…
