GASTRIC BY PASS IS NOT NOT NOT NOT THE WY TO GO! MY MOM HAD THIS SURGERY WHEN IT FIRST CAME OUT IN EARLY '80'S SHE WAS SICK ALL THE TIME OH SHE LOST THE WEIGHT FROM 300 PLUS DOWN TO 140 POUNDS OR LESS I WAS YOUNG WHEN SHE HAD THIS SURGERY BUT I REMEMBER THE HELL SHE WENT THROUGH WHEN SHE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL FOR 17 WEEKS 12 MAJOR SURGERY'S OH DID I MENTION THAT THE 17 WEEKS WAS SPENT IN I.C.U. ONE WEEK BEFORE SHE PAST AWAY SHE UP WALKING THE HALL WAYS AND THE NEXT SHE HAD SEVERE BRAIN DAMAGE AND FINALLY THE GOOD MAN ABOVE TOOK HER ON EASTER SUNDAY IN '96
