As a Diabetic person, I know I should be exercising daily, but being human, I am not always as compliant as I should be either. One week ago, I joined the CURVES program where I now go at least three times each week and exercise for at least 30 moinutes each visit on their equipment. CURVES is for ladies alone (sorry guys!) and their equipment is meant to tone up our parts. The exercise there is aerobic in nature, so you should check with your doctor first before beginning the program. Trained staff will measure everything before you begin: arms, bust/chest, waist, thighs, calves, hips, weight and height. They offer different programs: "cardio" is my program, since I also have hypertension and fibromyalgia. They also offer online support, weigh-ins, incentives and much needed support. I have seen a difference in my energy level just going there and working out, it has improved ! Hopefully, we will see other BIG improvements soon. If you're not exercising like you should and need that incentive and support from others, I recommend checking out your local CURVES program Ladies ! You can also get one free week to check them out before you buy into the program.
