as one new to dc site i'm a little confused on how to ask someone to be a friend and how to give gifts. maybe the home site could have a getting started info page. a how to page would be appreciated alot/

I think I can help you with that. You can do both just by clicking on the persons name.

Once you are on their profile page, you will see "Add To My Friends" next to their picture box. Click on that and at the top of the screen a long lime green box will pop up stating that you have requested that person as a friend.

Also on that persons profile page, there is a white box that says "Write A Message". Underneath that is a small gift box with "Add A Gift" next to it. Click on that and all of the gift options will pop up. Then click on the gift that you want to send and click on share. You can send a message with or without a gift.

Hope this explanation was clear enough. If not, there are "How To" videos on here that can help you with all the things you want to do.

Okay, that just means that you are already friends with that person. So just click on "Friends" at the top of your screen to check. You will see your entire list of friends there. You can also get there by clicking "See All" on the leftside of your screen where a short list of your friends is displayed.

thank you for the reply, i finally figured it out. i doublt i'll ever use the remove from friends lists feature. can't imagine anyone from dc i wouldn't like.

Glad I could help. That is how I feel about the people here as well but it has happened to me. That's okay though because I learned a long time ago to let stuff like that roll right off my back. Not everyone is going to like me, I accept that. But for every one or two that don't, there are that many and more who will. And that is fine by me.
