I signed up for that. Took about a month to get here but hey, it's free! And they send you info on their promise program and a promise program "insurance card". You just need to call them to give them your info. Apparently, the info you input when requesting the meter isn't connected to the promise program. You do get a choice of the freestyle lite or freestyle freedom lite.

Lifescan also offers either a free one touch ultra mini or ultra 2 depending on if you use insulin or not.
