If you can do it quickly, try and get a 90 day supply of your things via your insurance. They won't take it back when your insurance policy is canceled and what you get should see you until the other insurance kicks in.

You may have a bigger issue though. Since you will not have insurance for around 90 days you may have a blackout period of 12 months from anything diabetes related. If you have a gap of 63 days or more then pre-existing conditions will almost certainly be applied, if you get a new policy within that 63 day window you are able to apply your previous coverage to the exclusion period so assuming you had a policy for more than 12 months you would be covered for everything from day 1. It would be well worth seeing if you can buy into the new companies group policy and pay full price until they subsidize it. Expensive for a few months but way cheaper long term.

If you have insurance now, you should ask about COBRA coverage while you're between insurance policies. It is very pricey. But as KD has pointed out if there's a gap in your coverage, you may be stuck paying out of pocket for 12 months. So by comparison, paying for COBRA for three months might be cheap.
