I have been talking to my Doctor about the use of a pump. It is called the "omnipod" and I was wondering if there are current users who would share their experience. If you are, or know someone please share how you feel. I am told that in order to get my A1c any better I will need to consider the pump. My current A1c is 7.8 . Any one who would like to know what I know can look at their website at MyOmnipod.com. Let me know what you think.

Day 2: My sugar was 77 when I got up at 5:30. It is amazing how easy to use the pump is. I am on the omnipod and so far it is doing an amazing job. I am feeling better than I have for a very long time. I am praying that with this I can maintain a more consistent level. Time will tell but so far I am very pleased.

I started on the pump at 10:10 this morning. My sugar was high due to not taking the lantus at 6:00 AM. It was in the low 400's but by 1:10 pm it was back to 126. I will be looking at around 6:00 this evening to see where I am. It was awesome at lunch to just hit a few buttons and then just start eating. Our God is and awesome God.

Don't have any personal experience with the pod, but I am sure impressed with it. In fact I plan to schedule an appt. with my endo to see if I'd be a good candidate for one. I guess you'll get yours tomorrow. Best of luck, keep us updated.

I have my pump and will begin using it on Monday the 15th of March. I am praying that the results will be good. It will be a blessing to not have to take shots anymore. At present I take five shots on a normal day. If I have an episode then I take more. Thanks for all the prayers and support from all here at DC. Don

I just talked to my insurance and they say they will cover all insulin cost to use the pump. I am starting the process today and should fing out later today when I will get my fist pump. I am a little nervous but I know I can do all things through Christ Jesus who give me strength. Phill.4:13

Wow. I thought someone would know something about this. I also just found out this morning that my insurance will refund the total cost of this device.
