Humulin R

Hi guys. I need some advice.My doc give me this new insulin Humulin R. She wants me to try it. I'm really unfamiliar with it. I would really appreciate any info, how you take it, when you take it..etc. I'm on Apidra (rapid acting) i take it 10 minutes before each meal.

I am taking Humulin -R and it usually takes effect around 3-4 hours for me, but sometimes as long as 6 hours to kick in.

*** I am on the U-500 version which is a concentrated version or the regular insulin and it may react differently due to being concentrated.

With out a lot more info no one can help you other then your doc the one thing I can sey is test test test till you fined what your insulin to carb ratio is
