I pray that you get the funds to get the socks and get your some shoes. I recieved my diabetic shoes yesterday and they are so comfortable that I wish I would have gotten them sooner. Dan

My dad uses the diabetic socks and he loves them Turtle!! Yes you have to be very careful when cutting your nails, not to cut them too close. I usually do my dads I use to be a nurses aide years ago, I was trained how to cut them. Glad I know how now it comes in handy.

When I was a working CNA I could cut patient's toenails if they were not diabetic. If my patient was a diabetic the RN would have to do it. [both in NE & NV]

Once I turned diabetic I joked that it was beyond my "scope of practice" to cut my own toenails.

Of course family could cut a diabetic's toenals, but they were encouraged to wait for the RN.

hi I just purchased the socks and they are soft soft and feel really nice I wore them today felt good all day long. Yes they are expensive 2 pair $6.00. I hope you can find the funds to buy them. Good luck.
