Thanks so much for sharing this with all of us, your right it only took a few seconds, to just let someone know we care.

Xerox did this last year also, it's a worthwhile endevor. For the past 9yrs we've usually had one or the other of my son's deployed, thank goodness not both at the same time. This year everything will be going to Japan, Christmas tree and all! lol, my guys learned a long time ago that if they're around and we run into a service member to just leave me alone. Nahh, I'm not bashful about shaking their hands (Marines do get hugged of course) and telling them 'thank you' for their service. It means a lot for some of these guys just to hear a thank you, it's the least that can be easily done. Tomorrow we're delivering Thanksgiving baskets to several military families in East Texas, hoping we can make their holiday a little better. If you have the opportunity to help, try it you might like it! For those of you with deployed family members…bless you and yours!

I do the same thing when I find out of someone's service to our country [I include the police in that also - gets me strange looks from them until they figure I'm sincere and not looking for a favor] .

I met a man at my church last Sunday who had a "retired Navy" decal on his car. I walked up and shook his hand and told him "thanks for your service to our country".

Bravo Zulu [as my navy son says] and Blessings to you and yours too!

I wonder if we can: #1 Thank Xerox for what they're doing, and #2 ask if they could do it also for Afghanistan {if they're not already - The email only mentioned Iraq]

Thank you very much for posting this. My husband has been active duty for 26 years and has to retire at 30. Not a lot of people thank him or acknowledge what he does for our country. I am so proud of him. He was a leading Boarding Officer that helped prevent a ship that was said to contain missles from coming into the NY harbor after Sept 11th.

I am also a member of adoptasoldier (u can google it). I send emails and cards when we can afford it.

Thank you for telling us about this web site. It is really nice and it is really easy for everyone to show their support. My only problem was picking out just the right card, as there are so many nice ones.
