I just found out my a1c went from 6.6 to 5.8 in one month w/ glucophage. This med has helped me a lot. I am so excited. Now if I could just get rid of the bloat!

Thank you everyone. Your caring support is so special to me. I am greatful for each and everyone of you. You all can do it too. Keep adjusting your diet taking less of those favorite things like carbs and sweets and eat healthier each day and it will eventually show up on your a1c too.
God Bless,

Hurray for you!
But it is NOT all the medicine's doing! YOU had a hand in how you handled yourself in that 1 month, [please pat yourself on the back 'cause I can't reach you] and remember, the A1c is an AVERAGE measure of your BGs over 3 months [count 'em, 3!] so you either you had A LOT of extra-low readings the past month, OR you were on the right track already before Metformin. I pray it was the LATTER.
Please keep up the good work and your A1c low.
sincerely,
James
