Dr. Took me off pain meds

Tags: been on pain meds since 709, walked around my facility all day today wout my caneam ok, tired and achy but have done a lot thank the lord

My dr put me back on pain med today. It is lesser dose and I can only take it 2x a day. I wish I could really tell her how I feel because I am still in pt and that causes pain too. I feel so angry w/ my dr. She is worried about addiction. I am not. I have gone off this med. 3x cold turkey and I show no signs of addiction.

I am in so much pain...even w/ this lower dose of pain med. I go to PT 2x weekly and that causes pain that is unbelieveable. I know it should get better w/ time but right now, I hurt. I also take a muscle relaxent 2x a day but it is less than I used to take. Before the dr messed w/ my meds, I could take it 4x a day.

I would try to talk to the doctor about how much pain you are in and let her know that the lower dose is just not cutting it. I do hope you start feeling a bit better soon!

I saw my dr. for a mo. check up after being put on glucophage and she was real happy that he med is working for me. However, she also took me off the pain med I have been on since surgery. She has me taking Robaxin, a muscle relaxent 2x daily. So far, I am doing ok. My pain is not worse but not better. I just needed to get off the pain med, I agree. I use extra strength tylenol when I need it.
