Don't be afraid to think beyond traditional breakfast foods like eggs and oatmeal. Who hasn't eaten cold pizza for breakfast at one time or another and thought it was great?!!! Your Dad might enjoy a small piece of steak or chicken, for example or a crab cake or lox...Bon appetit! |

I googled low carab recipes recently and found this great site: recipes.sparkpeople.com and found things like a quiche lorraine, Spinach fritta, low carb egg muffins, low carb sausage, egg and cheese muffins, and low carb breakfast cups that were also lower in fat. Most sounded really good and easy to make. Hope this helps.

I am a caregiver & am struggling with menu items for my dad who has diabetes, heart related issues & is on Coumadin. Can anyone offer any suggestions for breakfast items? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.
