Feeling up one minute-Frustrated the next minute

Hi everyone. You have all been so helpful that I decided it was time to vent some of my concerns.

I am getting very frustrated with my diabetes. I have lowered my bs from an average of 235 to 125 in the last month. Was feeling good about it but the last two weeks have been crazy. I have been extremely busy, had a sister n law who had an operation to remove her thyroid from cancer and my blood sugars are on the rise again.

I wished I lived in a perfect world so every change didn't affect my bs but I know that is not possible. Tomorrow when I am less tired I probably won't feel as frustrated but thanks for letting me vent. Take care everyone and have a good week

Don't let it get to you. My wife always calls me a yo-yo, until I figured out it was my readings going up and down.lo! I feel that venting is very good for ones well being as long as you don't go on like the "wild woman of Borneo" Sometimes it is easier to vent here, than with your family. So don't feel bad, relax and kick back and have a wonderful day!!

I get upset too about controling my blood sugar. Some days I do good and some days I just do not understand why it's up. Try not to stress out over it this is just what we have to deal with it comes with the disease. Take care

Sometimes I don't even check my bs, the numbers are so erratic, it frustrates me. A lot of times, I go on how I feel…have good days and bad…been diabetic (type 2) for 11 years.

Don't feel bad. My bs is up and down all the time. I'll check it one time and it will be in the 200 to 300s, make an adjustment on my pump, check it again in a little while and I am bottoming out.

I just made my breakfast, and it was 65 so my pump wouldn't let me Bolus until it is within a normal range. So, I ate, and I will check it again in a little while, and adjust accordingly.

Really sucks sometimes, doesn't it? Hange in there, that's what I am trying to do. It does get very discouraging and frustrating. We have no choice but to keep on trucking, huh!

Thank God I'm not the only one who has ups and downs. What does work one day may not on another. When different health providers ask your A1c and you say 7.5 you get the tisk-tisk. It makes me crazy!!

Wouldn't it b nice if the world we lived in was carefree? My blood sugar is driving me nuts too! Someday s it up someday s it just right, and sometimes I feel like just throwing my hands up and eating whatever I choose to eat. But can't just give in without a fight, so Im still trying to master it. I too have days when I just need to VENT!! Thanks for listening my friends.

I am also getting frustrated. This disease is so erractic. What works one day may not work the next. My sugars tend to yo-yo also.

Isn't that the truth with troublesome adult children. I have one that is a doctor finishing up her residency and the other is into drugs and alcohol - go figure!

Gee I wonder if my adult daughter could be part of my stress. Imagine that. In all seriousness she is bi-polor and a fw other things and goes from hot to cold with me. One minuted I'm great and the next I'm lower than low but when she is reall in trouble she always come to me. Just the thought of it raises my sugar!!!

Just remember that stress is our enemy and reeks trouble for our bs. This is a good place to vent and we appreciate your situation because we have all been there. Keep us posted on how things are going.
