Sounds like it's time to take a nice warm bath! Definitely one of the few times relaxing sounds like a better idea then walking. Seriously though, I hope you feel better and heal quickly!!! |

When you go to wound center, and/or Dr. ask about the wound vac. This attaches over the wound and pulls a constant pressure to promote nice red, granulated tissue.

It is great if you go to a hyperbaric chamber - that wound will clear up in no time! |

Yes, hope the wound clears up soon. If you have access to a pool, swimming in a heavy clorinated pool tends to help heal wounds also. it kills anything that is living in those wounds. But make sure the owner of pool knows about it first, they might get squeemish if they find out you got in pool with a wound. |
Hiya all, hate this topic but nervous cuz not to be nasty but my old wound has puss in it as my husband sees' it. He and I just got back together recently so this is new for him, I will call the Wound Center in the am about an appointment to see what's up, any ideas though? I have been sick, on prednesdone and antibiotic now for wheezing, just had the pneumonia what 3 weeks ago, and found out I had a heart attack in the past sometime. *sigh* And this area happens to be the hind end type...so yay! Nice honeymoon period for my husband and I eh? lol If I don't laugh I am going to scream. My skin is pretty sore all over between the legs, etc right now too but I have really been walking my rear off so I am sure that's why. Sorry to complain, just needed to vent and talk to my family and friends here. Thanks for any information or support back! Hugs! Sheila
