What is your favorite low carb recipe and what is its net carbs? I am new to the carb counting and want to make sure I do not get bored by keeping up my options.

a letuce warp. Any sandwich just about can be made into a lettuce wrap. Start off with green leaf lettuce. Its the most stable lettuce and put in your fixings.

I love a good BLT, with out the bread.
dont forget the mayo and cheese, just dont go overboard with the mayo.

Ok Skip.

Lets talk carbs and Dr. Bernstein's plan. (6,12,12)

If you use Mom's Vegetable Beef Soup (Linda's low carb web page), you have 4 g net carbs. Do you add in a side of vegetables to get to your 12 g of carbs?

Also, what was your proteins (3, 4, 5 oz.) when you were starting the program? I realize he adjusts his protein to obtain weight loss if he was gaining weight to get back to losing (1 oz. on one of the meals).
