Well, thought I'd start a new post, as this is hopefully a turning point for mother and I. Her breathing problems are largely due to her diahrettic, or however you spell that. It's helping her drop all of the water retention weight she'd picked up after a year or so of poor eating choices before we finally got her diagnosed and sent to the hospital. Well, her breathing issues have been, largely, remedied to a good degree, thanks to the kind donation of a lift chair from a fellow family member. Hurray! She can sleep soundly tonight, I am sure. So, one major problem solved. Still working on getting her diet right though. The poor woman was shaking she was so underfed today, largely due to me not grasping what amounts of food to give her for lunch. Some chicken noodle soup, followed about an hour later by half a wheat sandwich with cheese, mayo, and a thin slice of honey ham seemed to have helped. Uhm… anyone know if honey ham is bad or not? The package details said 2grams of sugar total, I think… I'm pretty sure it's ok, as a dietician said pretty much all meats are good, but maybe I took that the wrong way. Anyhow, thank you everyone again for so much support, and I'll keep posting as the days go by. Erm… sorry for this mile long post, too!
