I have had this done on both eyes with the laser. One at a time with a 3-4 week between eyes. It was painless (scary, yes) they numb the eye and keep it open with some sort of apparitus. RThe only side effects I had/ have were: Increased sensitivity to light, both sunlight and indoor lighting. Also, for several weeks after I could still see the pattern of dots where he lased.. Sorry so late, but I'm going backward from when I joined. Good luck.

I have not had the surgery but I had a friend that ended up having it done on both eyes…not at the same time. She came thru it doing very well.
