Leg pain

I was recently given Gabapenten for the neuropathy in my legs(about 2months now). Is there somthing else to try that does not make me sleepy and groggy. I need something I could use at work. Gabapenten works for as far as the pain goes I just really do not like the tired feeling. Is there something else out there I could talk to my doctor about?
