Meds for depression

When someone broke into my home last June, I had to go to the ER. I had to talk w/ the police too. When I went to the ER I asked the dr to start me on Celexa for depression. He did at a low dose. I have followed up with my primary and when I saw her for my 3 mo diabetic check up, she increased the dosage. I am still waiting for it to kick in but it has worked for me in the past and I know it takes awhile to work. She gave me samples to get going on but it is relatively inexpensive compared to my other meds. Depression is hard for me to deal with but I know I will be ok if I could just move out of here. I do not feel safe here.
