Cannot sleep and epileptic

Hi everyone,

here I am again, unable to sleep. I am epileptic and my neurologist told me long ago, lay in bed for no longer than 20 min. and if not asleep, get up. It apparently is not good for people with epilesy to lay awake in bed trying to fall asleep.

I really stress at night. I am afraid of the dark, as I was hurt in the dark and I am not comfortable in my home due to an intrusion several months ago.

I am out of some of my seizure meds and cannot afford to get them filled so the sleepy effect I get from them is missing too.

You all know me well but due to the personal information in this message, I feel I have to go anonymous for this post. I am sorry.

If you have trouble in the dark, try RED light bulbs for sleeping. You will still be able to see, and they will not disturb your sleep.

Thank you Harlen, I have a great dog and he kind of wanted to know why I was keeping him up all night.
