I found a wonderful website today that is just for us, ladies ! http://www.womentowomen.com
offers info regarding everything we endure and then some ! For example, I first thought all my sweating a couple of years ago was menopause only: I suppose I was in denial that my diabetes was worsening. Actually, it was both menopause and diabetes fighting me !

looked like some good web sites that needed to be brought forward.
Thank you!
Have you ladies found this one yet, for women with diabetes:
http://www.diabetessisters.org/
the two women behind the site both have Type 1 diabetes and are very passionate.
Best,

I visited this site, and I like it too. There are so many websites that if I spent time on each one, I would have no time to do anything else! LOL
I did take this poll, and was shocked to see the relults. I have it listed below.
What source provides the most useful information regarding your diabetes care?
Peers with Diabetes 71.4%
Dietician/CDE 14.3%
Internet 14.3%
Family & Friends 0%
None of the Above 0%
Physician 0%
This blows my mind and also makes me even more grateful for sites like this one.
Great site. I had endometriosis and had 3 operations, beginning at age 19 and ending at age 30. I say I've been "spayed", I have no tubes, uterus or ovaries. I was slammed into menopause at age 30 in 1980. I used to take Premarin, but now prefer the patch. I know some of you will not agree with my taking estrogen, but it's the only thing that works for me. I've had episodes of sweating, especially at night. I know for certain it's the diabetes, as I've usually had too many carbs too late at night. If I don't change my patch I'm a sweating witch with a moustache!
Thanks for sharing such a helpful site.

I have been taking estrogen for 28 years as a result of having a "total" hysterectomy due to endometreosis when I was 38, and have no regrets. Every time I moved and changed doctors I thought they would insist I drop the estrogen but so far they haven't. I've have a problem with breast lumps but I've had them since I was 18, so the hormone replacement therapy wasn't the cause. I tried the patch was allergic to the adhesive. I felt better once I began the estrogen, and haven't looked back.
This is EXCELLENT! I love it. We can ask questions, get all kinds of information and there is even a phone number if you want to actually talk to someone. This is in my Favorites. Thanks!
I checked the site out . It is very nice for women whether they are ill or no. I like.
