Can having diabetes be part of not being able to get pregnant or satisfaction.

i just saw this post for the first time. I have to say it does interferre with satisfaction. And blue Moon is right. watch your sugars around that time and you should notice the higher the numbers…the less your body reacts to it…

Yes, it is difficult to become pregnant with diabetes and sexual dysfunction is part of the program. Don't let it get you down. I know easier said then done, I've had my share of tears over this issue. Talk to your doctor if you can and let them know what your going through and ask what can be down to conceive and carry a baby to term. It does take longer to get aroused and have an orgasm at times, notice your blood sugar on those days and you'll see the pattern. Your not alone, both men and women have this problem who are diabetic from my readings. It's a problem for me, but I'm learning, you will to.

I am not sure about the getting pregnant part.My baby is 19 and I have no plans for another BUT, I have been told by others that doctors are more positive about women with diabetes getting pregnant. It is believed through a website FertilityFriend.com that a diabetic should work very closely with her doctor before she TTC (tries to conceive) sp.
The satisfaction part is where continuous exercise and healthy eating habits play a part.I work out 4x a week and it makes a difference. Lets not forget your frame of mind also plays a part. Once this is implemented I believe you may see a positive difference (speaking from experience)
    Good Luck

Yes having diabetes can effect you getting sexual satisfaction. The pregnant part I don't believe so, but I would talk to my doctor about it. I did and it helped me a lot. So don't be afraid to ask the doctor about it.
