I would love to hear about what you are going through. I would love to know how you feel. I have a two year old boy named Troy who has type one and I often wonder what it will be like for him in his teenage years. Maybe you can enlighten me and prepare me as a mother to a teen diabetic in the future. What do you fear? How do you feel most of the time? Are you ever suicidal? It's hard to be a teenager that much I know tell me the rest. How do you feel about being a teenage diabetic. I heard this guy on one of the videos say he was a "Happy Diabetic" I loved that. I hope you are a Happy Diabetic too and when my boy Troy gets to be your age I hope he can say the same thing…I am a Happy Diabetic. Sorry I missed your discussion when you posted it. Yes, I do have a type 1 teenage son.

He's doing well. He uses an insulin pump, which he started using about 5 years ago. He really likes the pump even though he is very active (soccer player, water skier, etc.).
