Motivation = positive input

I am beginning to understand why I am feeling so much better about my diagnosis of diabetis, quit denying so much, just accepting it and trying to go with the flow, knowing that others are far worse than I! And do you know why? I know that it is because of the POSITIVE input I have received, and observed from this site, and new friends! Folks telling me that I am doing great, am keeping my BS within decent limits, is so much rewarding and inspiring than, "Oh, you don't have it bad, why are you complaining?!" Which only makes me angry and wanting to get worse just to prove to them that I do have a problem, be it small—it can get bigger and I KNOW that I do NOT want that?!

See the difference? Of course not everyone is as bull headed as I am, but surely a positive input helps others too! hugs, Pat Roth
