how do i get them

I AM HAVING A HARD TIME FINDING A DOCTOR TO REALLY HELP ME WITH MY MEDS AND CONTROL MY DIABETIS. I HAVE IN THE LAST YEAR HAD TO GET ON WHAT I CALL SOCIALISED INSURANCE AND THE DOCTORS I HAVE TO DEAL WITH ARE TO BUSY TO REALLY CARE FOR THEIR PATIENTS. I CAN NOT GET THE BEST MED'S BECAUSE THE INSURANCE (ADVANTAGE HEALTH CARE) DOES NOT COVER ANYTHING BUT THE OLDER TYPE MEDS. ALSO SOMETIMES IT TAKES UP TO A WEEK TO GET A PRESCRIPTION FILLED. IT TAKES UP TO A YEAR TO SEE A SPECILIST (HEART DOCTOR OR DIABETIC DOCTOR) DOES ANYONE KNOW OF AN DIFFERENT WAY I CAN GET AFORDABLE MEDS AND DOCTORS

What country do you live in?
I know here in the US, there are many clinics that can see you on a sliding scale, and while they too are busy, at least you can get in and get help. This is what I do, and the doctor that I found seems to be very helpful, but I do take a lot of time to get my questions ready for him and all my information so he can get to the point.

I don't have insurance and my visits are affordable. They also prescribe the less expensive medicines, but to be honest, some of the older ones work best. My Kmart pharmacy has many that are $4 a month or 3 months for $10. So that fits in my budget..

Hello Arnie, I would suggest you find yourself a new doctor. I went through about 6 of them, didnt find one I liked or would work with me. Gave up. went about 8 years without any treatment or not under a doctors care untill I found the doc who not only do I like, but he listens to me. In fact, hes in my medical group through my insurance and hes the one who contacted me. Took about 2 years for me to go see him, but when I did, I was glad I did. Find a doc you feel confortable with. Hope this helps.

Hello Arnie,
Have you tried to call your local hospital and talk to their
referal service. They have a list of all types of Dr's and
they may know what type of insurance they take. Hope you find a Dr. soon.
