I am having such a difficult time getting my strips. In the past, my pharmacy sent them out with the est of my supplies. Now they are saying I have to pay for them...I have part B medicare so here we go again. Does the concept of too much stress mean anything?

Do you go thru a outside pharmacy or you mean your local? When I went thru my local I was stuck paying too! ARGH...but now with the outside pharmacy I am not having to do so. Dunno what the difference is, makes NO sense to me. I am sorry you are having such a time, good luck...keep us posted. Love yasss Sheila

I know this is not going to be the best advice, but it works for me. I get my strips on Ebay. There is no way I can even think of paying for a prescription for test strips. I just got 600 strips that expire in three different months in 2010 for $90. (free shipping) This comes out to about .15 cents a strip over $1 a strip at the pharmacy. You have to be careful, and you have to pay attention, but I have never gotten a bad batch from them.

My mother-in-law has medicare and she gets her supplies from US Medical, 1-800-787-6331. She pays nothing for her supplies! When she used to get these from the local pharmacy, she paid full price! Hope this may help you.

Western Diabetic - 877-937-8342 bills through Medicare part B and others. My father-in-law uses them and pays nothing.
