going off meds can cause you all kinds of problems.always talk to your MD. also
high bg's can cause many problems to your
system like your eyes, kidneys and so on.
so please talk to your DR. first.

My advice to you is to talk to your doctor about going off your medication. There are always warnings about changing meds, going off meds, or taking new meds, without first checking with your doctor. You may be messing up your system if you don't follow your doctor's orders and stay on your meds. If he/she says it is ok to go off them, then that's a different story.

First I think its great you are getting the diet and exercise you say you have been getting. But I am concerned about you stopping the use of your Diabetic pills here N there, if thats what you are doing, so it sounds. You definitely should consult your physhican first. Now as for your question I really don't know the answer. Though it may vary with types of meds you are on, but my Metfomin is suppose to help me with my weight as well as my sugars. So I dunno, just wanted to say I worry about ya and wish you all the well…just be careful k? Take care! Love yasssssssssss Sheila
