Last edited 6 months ago I am a Vietnam vet. Type 2 diabetic. The government actually takes responsibility for all type 2 diabetics who spent more than 60 days in Nam. If you are a Nam vet and don't have insurance the VA is supposed to take care of you. Of course since it is the government, you will have to go through a bunch of red tape and jump through all of the proper hoops to get it. Fortunately I am covered by my insurance at work. |

I'm not a veteran, but if you think it is something that would help vets, it might be worth checking out. I'm all for anything that would help the verterans. From what I've seen on the news, they tend to get a raw deal when it comes to some medical services. |
I just was thinking - dangerous as that may be - about hooking the Alliance into the VA - could be a good relationship. At least, it'd be worth the exploration. What do you think?
