Welcome and congrats! It sounds like you are doing all the right things! |
I was officially diagnosed a type 2 diabetic on February 21. I was put on 100mg Januvia and told to start exercising and watch what you eat. I have managed to get my sugar levels from fasting upper 300 to lower 100 to 130. I have managed to eat pretty normally and loose about 15 lbs. I participated in the Iron Girl 5K and completed in 54 minutes with a huge bridge to walk across. Needless to say, most of my family has said this is the best thing to happen to me.
