We have loved putting this site together and watching it grow. I'm very excited for some improvements we'll be launching soon. I think the site will take a giant leap forward.

But really it is all the good people who come here that make the site as great as it is. The kindness and caring and information that is exchanged every day is a credit to all of you.

Welcome to the site. I am not as faithful as I used to be about checking the site everyday but I always know that when I need a little help of even just a distraction that I can come here and get great advice from a lot of really great people. I am both a patient and caregiver and sometimes at the end of the day I can barely get my eyes to focus to read the post. Tonight I am catching up with all that I have missed and having a wonderful time. Even if you never post you get a wonderful feeling of connection just reading what others have to say about their experiences. I am so glad that I found this place.

Hello LadyDi, someone called "LadyD" joined another diabetes site. I was so sure it was you that I welcomed her and sent her a private message saying I enjoyed her posts on diabeticconnect.com. She answered my message and told me she and you are not the same person. Lol! I will have to be careful about jumping to conclusions again. She took it very good naturedly.

Gee, how funny. Well, I'm sure she's a nice lady and appreciated your note. Hope you're doing okay these days. I've not been too active on here recently…taking a little break. Besides, I've had a lot going on.

I feel the same way this is by far the best place for friendly and very informative. I love that people are so easygoing and care. Its someplace that I love to come to and can find people that know how I am feeling and what we are going through.
