Just got home from my 3 month check up with my endo with great news and wanted to share.
When I was diagnosed July 22, 2011 my A1C was 12.3, in October it was 7.6 and my new A1C is 5.6!!!!
The doctor has taken me off my Januvia, so now I am only on Metformin.

Happy, Happy, Happy!!!!!

I was very happy to get this news. I thought I had really blown it over the holidays and since then I haven't been exercising like I was and should be, so I was very surprised and happy.
