***Amputees***

I am just wondering it is a year later and with all the new friends on here are there any amputees…Debe

Debe, Out of all the friends I have here, only one other besides yourself have ever mentioned it.
However I know of 3 personal friends and family outside of this community that have had amputations due to Diabetes complications.
I also posted a long time ago and article about all the Diabetes related amputations overseas.

Hello, what exactly is the reason for amputation with Diabetes?…is it infection that starts from outside the body and doesn't heal, or can it be and infection from within from injury or bruising?…
I have a son with BK amputation, but not from diabetes,

Mine was dued to poor care bymy poditrist. I had a paper cut that was taken care of daily in his office where it should have been something they treated in the OR. A office visit is ok but if the room isn't scrubbed down between pt with work being done them infection can be all around. I know after that I fought for 2 years on antibiotics before I had my below knee amputation…Debe
