Family versus the Doctor's Office

One thing I have learned over the past few days is that I love this site because it is like sitting down with family. We share all kinds of things. Some are serious, and require good advice. Other times we just share ourselves and it can be quite funny.
What makes this site differnt, is that we are just sharing our experience, and experiences. No doctors to tell us what to do. We have enough of those in our lives. No experts that have one point of view on things reside here. We are just plain folks with a common foe that we fight every waking moment of our day.
This is what makes us unique. It's what makes us special and keeps us growing every day to better control and great support along the way.

I feel the same way, I have really gotten close to those on Diabetic Connect, where I can discuss what is bothering me, and get so much support
from others. -
