The information you gave on prescription help was nice to receive. But I have a question? I have united Healtcare insurance and medicare part A,B and D but it still cost me 25.00 for my diabetic meds copay, plus 25.00 for needles and 25.00 for strips co-pay. I also take Cymbalta for the depression I now suffer from and my co-pay is 50.00. I take several other meds for my bp angina, arthritis, meds to help me sleep so forth and so on. This adds up quite nicely and I am seperated living on a very fixed income. Is there somewhere I can go to for help in purchasing my medications or am I just up the creek without a boat or a paddle?

The Chicago Project is an independent program run through the department of surgery, headed by Herand Abcarian, MD. Within the next five years, Oberholzer plans to continue human islet-cell isolation but instead of transplanting the cells
into just one person, he expects to be able to manipulate the cells to multiply safely and then transplant cells into many patients. How many? “Hopefully thousands,” he says.
