Tried agave nectar?

I just tried agave nectar for the first time in my banana/peanut butter smoothie this morning. Yum! Has anyone used it and how does it affect you?

I can take it or leave it, leaning towards the leave end of the spectrum. It's still a sugar but unlike most, has a very high concentration of fructose which is linked to raise triglycerides, belly fat and insulin resistance. Some agave is not really that different to high fructose corn syrup.
