Like "If you have an iPod or an iPhone, I've been using an app called Track3. It lets you log your glucose, the time you took the reading, if it was before or after a meal or activity. You can also track when you took your meds, either insulin or pills, how much you took and what kind, as well as tracking nutrition, and it does have a lot of pre-loaded foods, plus you can add foods that are in there as custom foods. It lets you mark foods as favorites so you can find them easier later. It also has a section that lets you know your calories/carbs log for the day and a logbook so you can look at past days. It has a section that averages your glucose readings, and you can also log exercise. It also has a feature that lets you email your information to whoever you wish. The email attachment is in text format, and a little tough to read, but I would imagine you could load it into a spreadsheet program and that would make it easier to follow. I absolutely love the program. It's easy to use and since I always have my iPod with me, I never forget to log my information, including meals.
