Like "My daughter counts carb too and her limit is 60 carbs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Or 1 unit for every 5 carbs if shes going over but it jhave to be an exact carb amount or she will give too much insulin and crash later, but she gets 3 snacks for 15 carbs each between meals and she only weighs 102lbs for 14yrs. She has a small frame and have no other health issues so this is how we do it. She gets insulin for breakfast and dinner only unless she is overs 200 before lunch after testing. THA CARB COUNTING IS THE BEST WAY FOR US TO KEEP HER HA1C UNDER 14!"
