Like "I was diagnosed on 4-13-10, I am still a little overwhelmed but I went to & found everything I was looking for, especially about food, tips on eating out, carb counting, foods that are good for you, foods that are bad for you, plate portioning, etc. they explain it so its easy to understand. Also, don't ever own THE diabetes, meaning, don't ever say MY diabetes, its not yours, you don't want it, do what you can to rid yourself of it.
