Like "In a magazine I was reading they had an article on maple syrup, they claim it lowers blood glucose levels by 23%. It says that this is because it has manganese, which regulates the output of insulin to prevent blood sugar spikes. The dosage suggested was 2 tsps. This article was not targeting diabetics, but was about weight loss. I haven't bought any syrup for probably 20 years, not since my kids were little. So I'll leave it to someone else to try it. Maybe it would be easier to take manganese supplements."
