I've been using a Digital nutrition scale to weigh my apples. When you input the code for raw apples and weigh it, the scale will tell you the nutritional values, including calories and carbs. It's an essential tool for me. Mine came from Target many years ago but it can be purchased on-line through Amazon and maybe other outlets as well.
