Like "So here's some good news. A group out of California called Tidepool (tidepool.org) is working to create a standard for storing all diabetes data. The hope is, once the data is all stored in a predictable and universal format, that will allow developers to create applications that can then sort, display, analyze, and report the data in understandable ways. Today, because the data is not in a standardized and universal format, we basically only have manufacturers creating the reports and views of the data. They aren't good at that and so the tools we have are pretty ridiculous. But hopefully, the Tidepool project will succeed and we'll have better apps for analyzing soon. "
